Bocking Windmill has recently completed its external decoration process thanks to the help of local Millwright Bill Griffiths. The Mill, which was first built in 1721, looks almost as good as new thanks to a fresh coat of paint.
Bocking Windmill is running open days across the summer, for people to find out more about the history of the mill and take a look around. There are scale working models of the mill on display to try as well as books, DVDs and gifts to buy.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome to help with the up-keep of the mill. The open days are taking place on:
